Wasteland Intro Script for FPS Creator

IntroWasteland
This script is a blueprint for a bare-bone intro for a Wasteland game setting. It uses a black stock backdrop and stock sounds. It works as follows:
– the script starts after the player starts a new game
– several rows of text are displayed while some sound or music is continuously playing
– the player can speed up the script in pressing

The download includes the script, license, a demo game and an FPS Creator map in .fpm format made with stock media so everyone can use it as a starting point for his own Wasteland themed game.

This script has been written for FPS Creator version 1.20. It will possibly not work correctly with other versions.

ZombieCity Intro Script for FPS Creator

This script is a blueprint for a bare-bone intro for an urban zombie game setting. It uses a black stock backdrop and stock sounds. It works as follows:
– the script starts after the player starts a new game
– several rows of text are displayed while some sound or music is continuously playing
– the player can speed up the script in pressing

The download includes the script, license, a demo game and an FPS Creator map in .fpm format made with stock media so everyone can use it as a starting point for his own zombie themed game.

This script has been written for FPS Creator version 1.20. It will possibly not work correctly with other versions.

Basic Conversation Script for FPS Creator

Conversation02This script is set up for a conversation between the player and an NPC and works as follows:

– when the player gets into range of the NPC, the conversation starts
– during the conversation the player cannot move.
– it is self-running until the player has at one point to decide how to answer (=which key to press)
– the player can speed up the conversation in pressing <enter>
– player and NPC lines differ through colour and position
– the player gets a choice somewhere to keep talking, go his way, or fight
– at the end the NPC goes along waypoints to a door and vanishes
– the player can attack the NPC prior to the conversation, when he is offered the choice in between and after the conversation when the NPC walks away (the script then uses RUNFPI=).

The player text is at dark blue and in the lower half of the screen, the NPC text is light blue and in the upper half of the screen,  but color and position can be altered in the script.

This script can be attached to a commanding officer, an ally, a help seeker, a computer terminal, an intercom or anything else the player could have a conversation with.

The download includes the script, license, setup guide and a small demo game to try it out.

Code Input Script for FPS Creator

This script is a variant of the stock FPSC “doorremote” script but instead of simply using a switch or lever, to open the door the player has to “type” the right 4-digit code. 

The script needs no HUDS, the text display is generated using FPCGRAWTEXT commands. If the player enters a wrong number, an alarm sound (from the stock FPSC library) is played continously until the player finally enters the correct code. This script can easily be altered to spawn enemies in addition or instead of playing the alarm sound.

The download includes the script, license and a small demo game to try it out.

Horror Sound Script Pack for FPS Creator

Metal Door 01This Pack includes 6 different scripts for entities or trigger zones playing randomized sounds. All scripts use only the stock sounds that are allready in the FPSC library so there is nothing else needed to run the scripts.

These scripts have been written for FPS Creator version 1.18. They will possibly not work correctly with other versions.

The download includes the scripts, install, license text and an extensive description of each script in the readme like this example:

ScaryDoorMetal – door plays random metallic banging sounds
How it works:
Made for metal doors to play random metallic banging sounds when the player comes closer than 2 segments. Randomized are the start of the sounds (0.1-2.0 secs), the number of sounds (0-3) and the time in between
the sounds(0.1-0.3 secs). After 2 minutes the script resets and will be again triggered by the player.
Examples where to use:
In exploration maps where the player has a high chance to pass by this door several times to distract or even scare the player. It should be placed in rooms or corridors at least 2 segments wide.
Issues:
There should be only one of these doors in a whole level unless the level is very large and the doors are far apart from each other.

Gunspecs for by bond1’s Fantasy Missile Weapons for FPS Creator


These gunspecs enhance the following fantasy missile weapons created by bond1 for FPS Creator:
Old Crossbow & Wooden Bow from this pack->FPSC Model Pack 18 and Elven Bow & Demon Scepter, these two are atm only obtainable from the in-game shop.

These new gunspecs include
– recoil for regular shooting whereas the crossbow has a much harder recoil than the bows.
– slower movement and turning while in simplezoom
– in simplezoom the tip of the arrow/bolt is exactly on target.
– in addition the Elven Bow lost its original zoom hud

The download includes the gunspecs (with “invisible” crosshairs), a readme and the demo game featured in the youtube vid.

Push-Over Script for FPS Creator


This script is the simple variant of the stock FPSC “activateanddestroy” script to enable the player to push over a table.

The important thing is not so much the script but the setup. The download includes the script, a detailed setup description, license and a small demo game to try it out.

This script has been written for FPS Creator version 1.18. It will possibly not work correctly with other versions.

Dead Bodies Script Pack for FPS Creator

DeadZombiesThis pack includes over 40 scripts to spawn characters as “dead bodies” ingame – mostly lying on the floor or sitting slumped against a wall. These “dead” characters are immobile, have no collision, are not bleeding and don’t show bullet holes when shot.

These scripts have been written for FPS Creator version 1.18. They will possibly not work correctly with other versions.

Scripts are provided for stock characters, these will also work on older FPS Creator model packs including MP 1, MP 4, MP 17, MP 18, MP 29 and MP 51 as well as most characters created by Cosmic Prophet (MP 51 & 73). There are also special scripts included for the highly popular Zombie Apocalypse Model Pack by Bond1 and ErrantAI’s Task Force 341 Model Pack.

Black Beast TavernThis pack includes retextures for FPS Creator stock media to build a complete fantasy tavern including:
– 1 room segment with wooden floor and ceiling
– 3 roof segments
– 1 door (complete with soundfile for a creaking sound)
– 1 wooden stair matching the floor
– 2 stained glass windows
– 1 wall sign featuring the “Black Beast” picture

The download also includes installation guide, license text and pictures of everything for reference.

Since no meshes(=models) are included, this pack only works when used in a full version of FPS Creator Classic X9.
